In this version, we have upgraded the tokenizer to better support Traditional Chinese, therefore this version requires a rebuild of the index. We change the default installation path of the desktop version to the user data directory, to avoid the requirement to start with administrator privileges.
We recommend using the desktop version:
- Windows: Book-Searcher-desktop_0.8.1_x64.msi
- macOS: Book-Searcher-desktop_0.8.1_x64.dmg
- Linux:
Please note that modifying the code of this project to add advertising and promotion is against the principle that this project is not for profit and we do not allow these modifications to continue using the name of our project and contributors to endorse or promote products according to the BSD-3-Clause license.
