• You should no longer get the permission denied errors related to issue #2. A temporary workaround has been implemented. The upside is that it now works, the downside is that you'll generate a bunch of output files in /tmp (they will be removed on reboot though so no worries). Once Microsoft pushes the next Windows update that includes the recent fixes to WSL I can remove this workaround all together as I'll be able to redirect output from git right to stdout.
