Release Notes

If you're just getting started with your V Zero build, the files attached to this release contain the most up-to-date parts required for your Voron 3D printer. If you are currently building, or have already built your V0, please check the list of fixes and updates below and determine whether you need to update your printer accordingly.

• A/B Drive Units

  • drive units and tensioners are now embossed with “A” or “B” respectively to avoid improper assembly
  • motor screws are countersunk to add more thread engagement
  • rear panel mount point added
  • A/B steppers changed to larger 40Ncm motors for increased torque

• X/Y Joints

  • hex nuts replaced with threaded inserts
  • idlers replaced by f623 bearing stack, hole adjusted to align perfectly in cad
  • endstop block changed to be compatible with DD toolhead
  • inaccessible bottom gantry screw holes removed

• Bed Assembly

  • Rear bed mounts extended 3mm to account for DD toolhead position changes
  • Z chain mount adjusted to accommodate off the shelf chain or beltchain and be easier to printed
  • zip tie mounts added for cable routing
  • removed horizontal bolt hole to prevent over constraining the assembly
  • front mount reduced in size for less plastic use
  • printed thumb screws for bed adjustments

• Z Motor

  • leadscrew/belt/motor setup replaced by nema17 with integrated t8x8 200mm leadscrew

• Feet/Skirts

  • extended to accommodate 34mm Z motors

• Toolhead

  • direct drive variant added
  • improved part cooling ducting

• Electronics

  • Move from AC to DC 24v bed
  • eliminate SSR
  • add AC power inlet fused plug
  • PSU 150W
  • terminal cover for PSU
  • SKR moves to rear compartment

• Tophat

  • front and rear changed from 15deg angle to straight vertical to accommodate new toolhead
  • 10mm added to overall height
  • side angles reduced from 15deg to 10deg

• Panel Clips

  • rear upper corner clips have a hole added for increased rigidity

• Front Idlers

  • no changes

• Frame

  • no changes
