Summary

This release contains performance optimizations, bugfixes, and new features.

It comes with the (still experimental) new EngineAPI implementation which is available as an opt-in via --engine.experimental, drastically reducing the time it takes to handle the fork choice update message (<1ms). ExEx usage in this mode is currently discouraged. Further performance improvements are underway before this becomes the default implementation of EngineAPI in upcoming versions.
